Poured from bottle into pint glass fairly vigorously
A: Pours a straw-pale gold color with a faint bright white head not reaching a fingers worth and dissipates after first sip to a faint ring. Fairly cloudy, just able to make out hand on other side of glass. After pour appears fairly flat with few carbonation bubbles to be found.
S: Hop smells a delicate grassy/floral, not overbearing. Get a bit of a doughiness in the smell as well.
T: Predominately grassy flavor from the hops with a bit of spice and a touch of earthy-ness I seem to get from Zuper Saazer. Also a hint of lemon. Grain bill imparts a doughy, white bread flavor and in the end a wheat grain flavor lingers. Slight bitterness that works very well in the beer.
M: Very refreshing, fairly crisp and dry, carbonation appeared absent but it in combination with a bit of bitterness dances on the tongue mid sip. Finishes dry and invites another drink.
O: Very nice IPL. Not a category of beer I have tended to like in the past but this beer is not overbearing in any category as others seem to be. Has a nice balance of malt and hops each taking their turn throughout the beer and finishes clean enough to want to keep drinking. Thanks 1840 for another delicious beer!

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours golden yellow with a small white head. Smells of grassy hops with just a hint of citrus. Tastes of grassy and citrus hops with just a hint of earthiness. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
