500 ml bottle dated 2.7.23 poured into a bulbous pint glass shows a pitch black body with barely a wispy island of tan colored foam.
Aroma right out of the fridge is dark black coffee. Warmth mellows the coffee and brings out the maple and almond.
Flavors match. Coffee dominates, but I recognize I am susceptible, while almond, maple, and vanilla all fight to make their presence known. Very little bourbon influence.
Mouthfeel is medium, almost slick, with a clean finish.
Overall a nice coffee stout.

Pours a dark chocolate brown, with modest foam and on the lighter side of carbonation. Aroma is a pleasant mix of bourbon and maple, with the bourbon being quite prominent. Taste is a bit different, where maple and coffee rise to the forefront, with bourbon in the background. ABV is present but controlled. This brew is nicely complex and tasty.
