Cypress and Grove Brewing Co. "Moss Monster"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$5.99 @ Sandy's Shack Express, Ocala, FL
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a very hazy golden body beneath a short head of white foam. The aroma is bright with sweetish malt and hops that offer tropical fruits and resins. The taste is even fuller revealing notes of pineapple, "dankness", orange, some pine & grassiness, and soft nectarine. It's moderately bitter (the label lists 20 IBUs). Ahh, it also lists the hops as Mosaic, Simcoe, and Centennial. In the mouth it's medium bodied and smooth with a moderate carbonation and all of those extra proteins. I can't specifically taste oats in this one but I'm sure they're there. It's an easy drinking hazy NEIPA of the juicy sort, and not nearly as frightening as a moss monster.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
