Following the Belgian technique of blending several different beers at different stages of life, our Geuze is finished in red wine barrels inoculated with Brettanomyces for a mixed fermentation. Hazy amber in color with plenty of the ‘barnyard’ flavor characteristic of the style, this beer is tart and effervescent, giving way to a dry, velvety, and complex finish of Brettanomyces, lactic acid, and a touch of oak and red wine.
