From the pint can, it pours a dark brown, almost black, with a touch of brown at the edges and a large, long lasting light tan head. In the nose, it is roasted malts primarily. In the mouth, it is the same, roasted and black malts. Nice porter.

A- Tallboy can pours into a small becher with a black body that has just a few touches of brown at the very edges. The foam on the beer rises to a cm high with a silky texture. Fair head retention but lacing is rare with just a few small patches staying on the glass.
S- Malt driven aroma that has moderately low strength so its hard to take away many strong, specific notes. Roast barley, chocolate, coffee and toast comes to mind. Hints at sweetness.
T- Medium strength malts that lean a bit toward the roasty side of the spectrum and a moderate sweetness. Notes of dark chocolate, nuts, toast, caramel, dark roast coffee, toffee and a touch of dark fruits. A touch of hop bitterness and earthy hints. A touch bready. With time the dark fruits grow stronger and the disrupt the malt profile.
MF- Light-medium bodied with just a touch of a foamy and creamy consistency. Carbonation comes down at a moderately low level and these two things combined make it feel a tad thin.
Nice malt aroma and flavors and overall a balanced brew but the body is just a bit thin for the flavors and style of the beer.
