Copenhagen 14/8 2023. 33 cl bottle from Edeka Center Bremen Hastedt, Pfalzburger Strasse, Bremen. Blue label with a statue and a skyline of Bremen.

Pours opaque hazy, golden amber with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor and a touch of sour grains. Metallic alcohol in the background.

Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Bready and sweet Märzen doing more or less what I would expect.
