10 oz pour on tap at the brewery. Golden yellow in color, no head to speak of and little lacing.
Aroma was mostly sweetish malts and a touch of cloves
The taste followed. It’s good, but it doesn’t have the complexity I generally find in the style.
The feel is ideal, helps remind me to sip and not just slam it down. (Slightly viscous)
OA, good, could be excellent if you like simple triples.

Very interesting Belgian tripel. Tried this one on tap at Thornapple. Pours a slightly darker golden-yellow color with minimal white head and very spotty lingering lacing. Smells of sweeter Belgian yeast and malt, grain and spices. Maybe clove. Taste follows the nose, good balance and flavors with some decent complexity and depth. Smooth, mild, enjoyable mouthfeel with good carbonation. My first Belgian tripel and fairly enjoyable even though Belgian beers aren’t really my style.
