On tap at taproom:
Golden yellow with a lacing-producing white collar. Nose has a pungent grass and metallic sulphur nose - in the skunky realm (not rotten egg). That sounds more off-putting than intended; although it has that green-bottles Euro lager vibe, it’s more robust overall.
Clean, light pushing medium, and moderately effervescent, this is a nice feeling beer. A bit of light sweetness that at least gives the impression of an adjunct (rice/corn), but probably is just a light touch of honey from the chosen malt. A little spice to the hops, which turn grassy bitter with swashes of lemon/line zest and sweet-tart apple skins mixed in. It perhaps finishes a tad bitter for the style, but not by a be lot, and I think the whole experience is a pretty good one.
