January 26 2025, can received as a gift.
Look: Slightly hazy gold, good white half inch head that sticks around a little while. Looks quite nice!
Smell: Some bread, but not much else, frankly.
Taste: Bitterness from the hops up front, bread, a small amount of malt sweetness in the back. Not much else. Some bitterness lingers, but not for long.
Feel: Light body, pretty carbonated.
Overall: It's ok. There's some hops bitterness that might please folks, and a touch of a malt backbone, but not much else. For a drink with wings or chili, it would be a good step up from a typical American adjunct lager, but it's not something I'd seek out to drink on it's own.
