Had a 10 oz pour while having lunch with Da Boss at the brewpub on 5-17-25 for $4.00. It was pretty good, a tad more flavorful than the Sea of Liberty. ABV is 6.5% per the can i got. Rating the draft as 3.75. Will review the can.
Sipping on a 16 oz can purchased from the brewery 5-17-25.
Look-no changes in the rating. Decent head and clear.
Smell - downgrading from 3.75 to 3.5. Getting some floral hops and not much else.
Taste- downgrading from 3.75 to 3.5. Decent malt flavor but no one element shines thru.
Mouthfeel- upgrading from 3.75 to 4. I like the softness; each sip is smooth.
Overall - downgrading from 3.75 to 3.5. It is an okay beer but there is no pop or wow factor at all.

A good middle of the road IPA. Have had it several times at the brewery. It is my “go to” except when they have the DD 214 which I think is superior.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Pour Taproom, poured into a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a cloudy consistency, There was a 3/4", foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Solid lacing.
S: An OK aroma of hops, malt, and some citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of sweet malt (mostly in the finish), a good shot of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a fair shot of hops, and a tinge of tropical fruit (passion fruit, maybe?). Not a bad flavor, but it doesn't really distinguish itself. It needs to be a bit more aggressive for it to make an impact. This is true with the citrus especially.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer with some good qualities. Worth a try.
