L: Poured from a tallboy can to a goblet. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a murky consistency. There was a quarter inch of creamy, off white head that lasted an above average amount of time. So-so lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of a vinous quality, Belgian yeast, dark fruit, spices, and malt.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of dark fruit (plums, raisins), some light malt notes (present throughout, though subtle), a good shot of Belgian-style yeast (present throughout), spices (coriander), and some of the vinous quality (red wine, in particular). A sharp and lively flavor. It's pretty well-balanced and definitely tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a vibrant finish. Medium-bodied.
O: In general, a well made, easy to drink quad. Worth a look.
