I had zero expectations for this beer; I've never even tried the brewery before. I poured it from a 16 oz can into a snifter. Nice darkness, with a head just thicker than thin. Allowed it to warm for 15 minutes or so. I was delighted by it! No sweet flavors (I do like those kinds of beers), just a nice, solid, roasty porter. Mouth-feel might be a tad thin, but not off-putting. I'll definitely buy again.

Picked up a single from the brewery cooler while visiting 5-17-25 for $2.33. No canning date; consumed 6-17-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured dark brown with a pretty nice off-white head with the original pour.
Nose has notes of roasted malts and floral hops.
Taste is a more roastier malt base than expected that gives a touch of chocolate. Floral hopping balances things nicely. Finish is dry.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and lacks presence.
Overall, i like roasty beers and the flavor works for me but may not for those that like a mellower malt base.

This is one that is much better to me on tap than from a can. On the tap its a 5 for sure, the canned version is more like a 4.5. A nice creamy flavor. Lots of foam when poured from a can.

16 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($3.09).
Pours with too much carbonation causing a short pour to foam over the top of my glass.
Look. Impaired by to much sediment.
The aroma is OK and the flavor is basically true to style so this can is probably not infected or defective, but the flavor does have some off notes. The relatively high carbonation detracted only a little from the feel of the smooth, full body.
