Light honey-colored body; overactive carbonation; thin, soapy head. Faint caramel smell. Weak taste, delivering a barely noticeable caramel flavor; faint, dull and metallic hop presence with very little bitterness. Nearly medium in body; rough with carbonation and little residual sugar body; thin and watery.
I get that the ABV is low for the style and one shouldn't anticipate a major hop presence, but, truly, shouldn't an 80 schilling Scottish ale have some decent malt presence and feel? The lack of malt flavor and overactive carbonation just ruins this beer. Well, the brewery is new, and perhaps things will change.

16 oz can with no date stamp but certainly fresh since it is a new release.
Pours with a clear copper colored body with a decent off-white head that has modest retention.
The aroma has a strong hop component for the style. There's a more typical balance in the flavor but neither the aroma nor the flavor present a harmonious blend.
