I don't see any date listed on the can or the label.

Appearance: It is hazy and gold with a large white foamy head. Average retention but no lacing aside from a few spots.

Aroma: It has a souring fruit aroma which is nice. There is a bit of raspberry aroma and a very light touch of cream of wheat scent.

Taste: Up front there is a pleasant flavor of peach which comes in like a gummy bear to the palate. There is a touch of raspberry and tangerine which join with a very soft handed character. The middle of the palate has a bit of alcohol and a bit of cream of wheat. The flavors are pretty good but they don't seem to stick to the palate. No aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium body with a lighter finish and a slightly acidic finish as well. No real bitterness except for a very faint bitter character that accompanies acidity sometimes.

Overall: It's an alright beer. The name of the beer is "PEACH TEA" and it does have a pleasant peach opening but it never tastes like tea and the flavor doesn't develop past the front of the tongue. As a whole the beer is decent enough but it isn't something I'm likely to buy again. I could buy it again if it were on the menu of a restaurant or at the brewery and I was eating something lite like a salad. It's worth trying a sampler or a pour.

When’s a tea not a tea?

When it’s a beer such as this.

Sure, this is an American Blonde Ale but for all intents and purposes, this may as well have been a tea. Looked like one, felt like one, and tasted like one as the peach, subtle spice, and fresh-brewed nature of it shone throughout my session.

Hazy and golden, this has a few dark bits swirling around as if the tea bag could have been a bit more fine. Plenty of head topped this off as the lacing left behind was sufficient and scattered. Loads of tea and tea spice in the nose with lots of floral and field notes underneath that. Fruit patch, fresh peach, and a bit of sticky nectar came in on the palate as indeed, the peach fuzz mentioned on the label made an appearance in the back! Plenty of body and enough carbonation ensured that this would be light, fun, and suitable for year-round enjoyment.

No date was to be found anywhere although this held up well since the end of last year. Can’t brew your own tea? Reach for this and thank Beale’s later on!

Poured from can into pint glass. Poured light blonde with a touch of haziness and thick white head that dissapated quickly. Very subtle hints of peach on the nose. Taste vaguely followed nose with a slight bitter finish (from the tea?).

Light bodied and crisp. Very refreshing and definitely a good summer time brew.
