On tap at the brewery, served in a Nonic pint glass.
Appearance: Cloudy orange-amber, with a small ring of foam leaving a little fine-bubbled lacing.
Nose: A little stone fruit, a little orange.
Mouthfeel: Pretty thin, adequate carbonation.
Attack: Malt, but not as strong as I might have expected.
Finish: Adequate hop bitterness to balance.
Overall: While I enjoyed trying it, this won’t go down as my favorite Mārzen. The hops in the finish are near perfect in intensity, but both the malt and the mouthfeel could stand some intensifying.
