Ridiculously, we used over 10 pounds of hops per barrel in this throwback West Coast IPA. Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Citra offer a richly bitter, oily, resinous, and fruity hops experience that, as with fortune, favors the bold.

From a growler into a tulip snifter. Had 11/1/20.
Pours a clear, bright golden orange, with a one inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Active carbonation. Aromas of orange, pine, grapefruit, light malt, a bit of a sweet aroma. Flavors of pine, orange, malt, grapefruit, resin. A little sweet, with a decent amount of hop bitterness throughout. Smooth, a good light body, well carbonated.
Pretty straightforward. Has a lighter malt base and is sweeter than expected. Enjoyable.
