Canned 9/20/21; drank 10/4/21 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice tan head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Fresh earth, burnt caramel & faint vanilla notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium mouthfeel.
Burnt caramel, vanilla syrup & faint fresh earth flavors.
Smelled good but this was a bit too sweet and slightly artificial tasting. Not bad, but not one I'll seek out again.

Served from the can in a Roaring Table shaker pint glass.
Sounds like a euphemism, but I'm too innocent to understand. Anyway, this stuff pours a midnight chestnut brown topped by a finger or so of light tan foam. The nose comprises roasted malts, vanilla bean, mild cocoa powder, and a touch of coffee. The taste follows fairly closely, with the emphasis on the vanilla and cocoa aspects. The body is a hefty medium, with a rather light moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. Overall, a very nice milk stout that somehow keeps from overdoing the sweetness. Good times.
