Served in a Revolution Every-Day Hero glass from a crowler filled at the brewpub.
Been a short minute since my last taste of a Fruit Shop, so let's take a break from the recent stouts, eh? This stuff pours a hazy mango-orange juice topped by a half-finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises mango, coconut milk, light pineapple, and a touch of orange to keep us off our toes. The taste brings in more of the same, the coconut almost seeming to partially mute the other elements a tad bit. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a nearly drying finish. Overall, a nice Fruit Shop entry, though the flavor combination wasn't exactly my favorite. I would imagine a coconut-less version being a bit brighter and more enjoyable, but this one's got some of that going for it (just not a lot, unfortunately).
