The German yeast we used imparts delicate fruity notes, and the German malt and hops offer up sensations of warm bread and wildflowers.

Pours a light, pale straw yellow color. Weak, white sudzy head appears on the beer momentarily before disappearing. Aroma is subtle, but has notes of grain, sweet honey, and some subtle herbal hops. Taste follows the nose with notes of sweet bread, light grainy malts, a touch of honey and some subtle citrus notes giveing way to some herbal, grassy hop notes on the back end. Feel is light, crisp, bright and very refreshing.
Really a very nice kölsch - certainly the kind of beer I could knock back a whole kranz of myself.

Poured into my tall Becher 'cause I has no Stange. Another can from RT with no clear dating. Unlike them, but bought fresh at the brewery.
L -- Clear, light gold with a sudsy white head that crashes and only revives a little.
S -- Herbal hops and light bready to crackery malts with mild DMS back.
T -- Biscuity/crackery malts up front with some lightly tart citrus notes following. Bitter, herbal hops join with the tart notes. Finish is herbal and bitter with crackery malts making an encore in the aftertaste.
M -- Mouthfeel is soft to crisp with a light body.
O -- Great top-fermented to cold-lagered character in an easy-drinking and refreshing beer.

Canned 10/26/21; drank 1/24/22 @ the Yarchives.
See-through (faintly cloudy) dull yellow/orange appearance.
An even pour yielded a nice, noisy white head; nice lace.
Honeyed corn, tart peach & faint whole milk notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Honeyed corn & mild tart peach flavors; a nice dry, yeast-y finish.
Balanced & very pleasant; I'd have another!!

Had on tap. Clear golden body with a white cap but lovely lacing. Smell and taste both have grains, hints of lemon and maybe peach in the esters, but mostly buttery malts, very bland. Feel is watery with some graininess, but at least it is bright and sunny
