My first winter IPA (if that's a thing.) It's a pretty beer to me. I like the dark brown color. I wasn't expecting it as I poured it out of the can, but it is nice looking. The nose is almost empty to me though. It really made me think I have covid for a moment, there's so little that I can pick up. Drinking it though I am liking the malty flavors. They are much more prevalent than the IPA hops. I get a bit of them on the background, but if I didn't read the can, I'd miss it. It has a wonderful soft full mouthfeel like an IPA that I like however. Overall an interesting beer worth checking out in a mix pack, but probably not one I'd get regularly.

Canned 12/21/21; drank 12/31/21 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly opaque dark brown/orange rust appearance.
An even pour yielded a huge khaki head; nice, frothy lace.
Brown sugar, pine, mild pine & faint orange citrus notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium mouthfeel with some carbonation bite on the finish.
Caramel, pine & mild baking soda flavors; my first "winter IPA" isn't really winning me over. Not one I'll return to.
