We used Comet, Enigma, Amarillo, El Dorado, YCH 1320, and Citra Cryo to make this modern APA shine with flavors of lemon-lime, tangerine, and subtle white pepper.

7/12/24 - (Can - Home) (Chicago, IL) Can Notes: Purchased 7/1/24 from Beer on the Wall at store temperature for $4.55 including tax, refrigerated upon returning home until opening this evening. 16 oz canned 6/21/24, can stamp Visit Our Taproom. Pale Ale, 6.0% ABV, Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic hops. Brewed & Canned by Roaring Table Brewing, 739 W. State Route 22, Lake Zurich, Illinois.
Appearance: Poured about half the can into a shaker pint glass. Faint straw yellow base, mild carbonation drops off quickly, bright white generous head leaves no trace but a creamy cover over most of the base. 3.75
Aroma: Tangerine, pineapple, citrus. and pepper. Medium plus strength, higher enjoyment. 4.0
Taste: Drinks more like orange tic tacs, with a splash of pineapple and lemon. Very sweet, chalking it up the the Cyro I see on the online notes. 3.25
Mouthfeel: Very sweet, hard to get past. There is some faint bitterness, but can't overcome. Feels creamy boosting the light watery body, carbonation left the building. Drinks strong, a bit higher than the ABV. 2.75
Overall: I would have passed if I known this was Cyro-Hopped, which is not labeled on the can. Highly sweet and artificial tasting consistent with at least a half dozen Cryo-Hopped offerings. Please label your cans if you are going to use this. I'll stick with Starbursts and Tic-Tacs if I want to go down this route. 3.0
