Heterodox IPA. Styles are great but they’re not fixed in the heavens eterne. We’ve been tacking in this direction for awhile now, playing with a cauldron of IPA ideas coming from beers labeled ‘Brit’, ‘Cold’, ‘Modern’, ‘West Coast’, ‘New England’, ‘No Coast’, ‘Vermont’, California’, and etc, etc, etc - you get the idea.

We thought it might be fun to add to the mayhem with a new made-up designation, the Heterdox IPA. There’s nothing new under the Sun, but this hoppy, firmly bitter, lager-yeast fermented, and not-quite-hazy ‘Ale’ is anything but true to style
