Picked this one up at the brewery proper. Canning date of 11/30/23, so I can't vouch for how this one tasted uber-fresh.
Poured into a short, stout mug.
L -- Opaque black with a tall brown head that slowly turns tan and settles pretty fast.
S -- Roasted malt, cream, light cocoa.
T -- Roasted malt leads the way and blends into light milk chocolate then finishes with a light, herbal hop bitterness. The bitterness lingers through the aftertaste and gives a baker's chocolate character to the previous milk chocolate note.
F -- Mouthfeel is soft to dry with a robust body.
O -- I wish this had a touch more sweetness -- maybe something to do with the 3 months in the can? But a very drinkable, robust stout nonetheless.

Had on cask. Dark brown cloudy body with black tinting, full oatmeal head and tons of lacing. Smell and taste are the same: roasty malt meets english yeast, with subtle slight coffee, cocoa, and nuttiness underneath. Feel is frothy, light and smooth, with a warming disposition

16oz can, I think the date stamp says 9/30/23
L: cola appearance with a khaki head capping a dark brown body
S: roasted barley, oats, dark chocolate, earthy hops
T: roast & char, dark cocoa, oats, coffee, caramel, grain, earthy hops
F: medium body, smooth, ample carbonation, exceptionally balanced finish
O: I haven’t had much from Roaring Table, but the couple I’ve had have been very good. This one is full of flavor, yet at 5% it’s totally sessionable

I had this on cask 4/6/24 @ the Beer Temple.
Brown/black appearance.
Big tan head; thick, frothy lacing remained.
Dark chocolate, medium roast coffee bean & faint creme brulee notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Dark chocolate & medium roast coffee bean flavors up front; creme brulee notes on the finish.
Insanely flavorful but still maintains a proper, British stiff upper lip. Out of the can this was a 4.0 for me, but on cask this is a STUNNER.
