Collaboration with Beer on the Wall. Brewed like a traditional English Pale Ale with base malts full of cookie and honey flavors right alongside German specialty malts for a bit of nutty and toasty complexity. Enjoy with a giant pretzel or a spicy curry.

4-pack purchased at the taproom. Caned 08-22-25.
L -- Slightly murky, deep amber with orange highlights and a thick, light tan head that holds up well.
S -- Sweet cookie and light caramel notes with a touch of stone fruit.
T -- Caramel and cookie notes up front with light stone fruit back and herbal to earthy hops in the finish. Caramel and hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Cookie notes are very Maris Otter-like in deliciousness.
F -- Smooth to lightly crisp mouthfeel and a medium body.
O -- I'm calling this a Strong Bitter by the BJCP guidelines, and a pretty good one at that. I missed this off cask by one day, I'll bet it was great.

Murky dark amber brown body, tan head that fades into a cap. Aromas of english earthy yeast, sweet caramel malt, with supporting orange peel, leather, and a whisper of prune. Taste features the earthy yeast with slight sulfur, lighter caramel malt, minor prune, date, orange peel, and leafy hop on the finish. Feel is light and malty before the drier yeast carries. A unique and fun hybrid of marzen and english ale

Not sure what to make of this beer - it's definitely amber / brown not pale. But it's good if I think of it more like an english brown ale!
