Poured from a 16 oz. can into my stout mug. Purchased from the brewery 2 days ago. Canned 10-25-24.
L -- Deep dark brown with ruby highlights and a thick, firm, resilient, light tan head.
S -- Mellow roasted malts and light creamed coffee.
T -- Roasted malts up front that blend into light, dark cherry esters. Finish is more roasted malts with the creamed coffee character emerging and a balance of bitterness between roasted malts and herbal hops in the aftertaste.
F -- Mouthfeel is soft and creamy to lightly dry with a medium robust body.
O -- A very nice autumn beer that I almost enjoy better from the can than off cask. Although, my palate wasn't terribly clean when tasting the cask draw.
