It's the best tasting ale that I have ever drunk and I'm not just saying that because my distant cousins own the brewery in Hungary. Dreher is a much better ale than one brewed a small Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania town and I'm saying that and I live there. Dreher is hard to find in the US but keep trying, you won't regret it. When you drink it, you'll never drink another ale.

Somewhat boring attempt from a major brewery to come up with a craft be. But still better than many standard beers.

In recent years craft brewing got so popular in Hungary that even major players like Soproni (first on the market with their APA and IPA) and now Dreher came out with something high fermented.
This American style Pale Ale is of course far from the really great craft brews (remember, we are talking about a large commercial concern here) but nevertheless it is still an honorable mention! Looks nice and smells quite fruity indeed! Kazben, Chitra and Chinook were used when hopping it and it results in an okay taste, a bit too commercial perhaps, a bit flowery? But not that bad, I could back two cans down straight away. Glad for these mainstream ales of Hungary for sure.
