Poured from 500mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 1/12/24. This is listed as alcohol-free although the label says "alcohol max 0.5%".
Appearance: light golden hue with a totally clear body and two fingers of frothy white foam atop. It looks entirely like a light lager and has good head and lacing, so it's hard to complain on the looks scale.
Smell: sweet malt with some light, citrusy hops. It smells a lot like unfermented wort, so not exactly like beer. Not bad for NA, and I have smelled much, much worse in a low-alcohol beer.
Taste: it also tastes a lot like unfermented wort, but honestly it's not too bad for NA. It's not too "corny" or anything, which I have noticed in the past in macro lager NA beers. I'm not likely to come back to this on a day-to-day basis, but it's a perfectly cromulent drink.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and a creaminess that's not half bad.
Overall: this is pretty drinkable. I am probably downgrading this beer a bit much because it doesn't really taste quite like beer, but for NA it's decent if not exceptional. Worth trying if you're both a) cutting back on alcohol and 2) in Hungary.
