Dreher is a major commercial brewery in Hungrary, still they are able to come up with a decent beer like this. Bitter lager as it says and it is quite bitter indeed, they must have been using bittering hops in abundance. Not as in an English Bitter - there is actually quite a lot of aroma in there as well. Altogether it is a quite alright beer, especially from this brewery, much appreciated.

Poured from 500mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 2/26/23.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a thick head of frothy eggshell foam with some good staying power. Nice!
Smell: hoppy and lagery - gee, imagine that? But there’s a nice earthy hop character that plays well with the lager yeastiness. Not bad.
Taste: rather quite bitter, I would say. It is definitely what it says on the tin. It’s actually not bad, if you like a slightly earthy hop and a lager that’s closer to a bitter than to a helles.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: for a major beer company this actually has some decent legs on it. Not perfect, but if you are into classic bitters and a Pilsner just isn’t enough, this may well work for you.
