Picked up a 4-pack on first time into the brewery, so poured one from the can now. It was explained that this (and all?) beers from them are one-offs, so it is worth noting that this has Green Bullet and Cashmere hops, as this is likely to change should the label come out again. Just wanna say I applaud their bold strategy of never serving the same beer twice - I love exploring new beers from breweries and this will keep me coming back.
It pours a cloudy light orange gold color with a one finger head that settles fairly quickly with little lacing. The aroma has some sweeter tropical notes mixed with a little earthiness - this is a good blend actually. The taste is similar though there is a noticeable tangerine flavor in the mix along with some light papaya that morphs to melon in the finish along with a moderate bitterness. Feel is soft and creamy and there is a moderate bitterness. It feels like a strong APA and it is maybe a little watery but the flavors are so rich it is hard to notice.
They call this a NE Pale Ale. At 6% it's marginal but it feels more like one with a slight thinness in the body. It is a great New England style ale and I am excited to see what else they come up with. This is a solid competitor in a crowded market regionally and a portent I think of good things to come. What will be the next NEIPA from them... who knows?? I will come by to find out though :)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
