Canned 2021/05/25
Pours a fairly large off-white almost 2 finger frothy foamy head with med retention, touch of lacing, hazy darker auburn reddish-brown color
Nose lots of toasted malts, biscuity brown toasted bread crust, little cereal, a bit of roasted malt and coffee, little fruity esters with dried dark fruits touch of creamy malt
Taste brings more of the toasted brown malts up front, biscuity with a little toasted bread crust, then fruity esters with some apple and pome fruit, a bit of dried dark fruits, touch of a creamy malt base with cereal on the back end, light earthy hops with mild bitterness, drier mild sticky finish with more apple juice, hops get a tad spicy but more earthy with med-light bitterness, touch yeasty presence
Mouth is med to lighter bod, med prickly carb
Overall not bad, I like fruity esters in a mild but the apple itself might be a bit much, would like a bit more malt expression overall as well, but a decent beer
