Canned 2021/09/22
Pours a fairly large foamy almost 2 finger tan head with moderate retention, spotty lacing, dark bit semi clear mahogany ruby color
Nose like a mix of brown ale and porter, mild roasted stout like dark malts, cocoa, with sweet biscuity toffee caramel toasted brown malt, sweet brown sugar, a bit fruity
Taste semi sweet with more caramel toffee and brown sugar, biscuity toasted grain and brown malt, light roast and chocolate, light fruity character, into earthy mild spicy hop, med bitterness, touch of buttery biscuity cracker, mild sweet finish med spicy bitter hop
Mouth is med bod, med to higher fizzy carb
Overall not bad, a bit more brown ale than porter, but decent in general and nice winter beer
