Pours a fizzy bubbly 1 finger head with fair retention, big foamy lacing, clear amber to slight brownish color
Nose some sweet toasted malt, touch of caramel and sweet bread, little herbal tea hops, touch fruity as well, little biscuity toffee notes, an almost candy sweetness with some spices
Taste brings more mild sweet malts, little caramel, biscuity toffee, sweet bread crust, touch nutty note, touch fruity, med bitterness with herbal tea and touch earthy, leafy, dry finish, a bit of those spices as well, with lingering herbal tea notes
Mouth is med bod, a bit soft, med small bubble frothy carb
Overall pretty good altbier, nicely done all around
