Canned 2025/07/15
Pours a big pillowy frothy 2 finger head with fair retention, soapy lacing, mostly clear but dark mahogany chestnut color
Nose brings mild toasted biscuit malt, a bit of tangy yeasty continued fermentation, mild caramel and candy, spicy yeast
Taste brings more toasted malt, a little caramel toffee sweetness, biscuit, some fruity notes with tangy again and yeast from continued fermentation, spicy yeast and general spices, more on the finish
Mouth is lighter bod, higher carb
Overall not great, base beer may have been ok but overpowered by the yeast additions from continued fermentation, needed more attenuation, not too pleasant
