Handsome Sienna red-brown with long-lasting foam in the Fuller's imperial pint. Lush and sudsy on the tongue with a watery body. Aroma of roasted barley and wood. Very slight sweet notes with the malty taste. Interesting grainy flavors with a distinct dose of the rye spiciness. Quite moderate bitterness but enough for balance. Tangy and delicious variation on the Extra Special Bitter theme. From the 16 oz can purchased at the local Co-op market. Dated FEB 10 2023.
