This traditional German lager is brewed in March and features a rich malt flavor with touches of caramel sweetness. Brewed with Wyermann malted barley from Germany. Hops are Idaho-grown Styrian Celeia.

Clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the Chuckanut Kölsch glass. Very aromatic, in fact it reminds me of a Kölsch with the perfumey smell. Light and moderately carbonated with a sweet taste to start. Fruity as in canned peaches with slight herbal green hop notes. A decent quaff but less refreshing and more malty. The aroma is pretty wild. From the 16 oz can purchased at The Garden Path.
