From the Varietal Beer Co. website: This year we brought back our Czech dark lager, brewed with Weyermann malts from Bamburg, Germany for a mellow roast flavor of nutty, dark bread. It’s bittered with Saaz hops for a mildly spicy hop character and balanced bitterness in the finish. We finally canned it for you to enjoy anywhere you need a dark lager.

16oz can purchased at Community Pint. "Best by 06/24." Oops.
Poured into a 12oz mug, virtually black in color, with a big, tan, creamy looking head.
Nose is roasty and sweet, in that order.
Roasted dark malt bitterness and a low key brown sugary sweetness co-mingle in the taste.
Body somewhere between low and medium bodied. Finished clean.
Pretty good, easy drinking Czech Dark Lager. ABV is a little high for the style, but does not impede the drink ability. Pretty good stuff.
