What else would a company man order, but an IPA. Hunched over his dining room table at 10 minutes ‘til midnight, trying to meet an arbitrary deadline—only the figures haven’t been e-mailed yet, and a last-minute change made his argument null and void. It doesn’t matter that this particular IPA is West Coast in nature (using Summit, Ekuanot, & NZ Taiheke hops) with exotic flavors of lime, papaya, orange zest, and lychee. It just needs to be an IPA.
