The hazed, opaque orange tinged light yellow beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a 1/2" ivory head that leaves a ring of lacing on the side as it recedes to a thin layer on the liquid. As the more of the beer is sipped down there are rings and legs of lacing on the sides of the glass. There are a few floaters visible in the liquid that soon settle to the bottom of the glass. Sipping creates patches and skinny legs of lacing.
The aromas include a nicely balanced mix of citric zest, resin, and tropical fruit along with a bit of what seems to be some white grape. All of this is backed up by a background of malt.
As expected from the nose there's some citric zest, resin, tropical fruit and some white grape are all mingled in with the moderate bitterness. Also there's a bit of almost crackery sweetness from the malt that helps take sharp edge off the bitterness and keeps it partly under control so the juicy hop flavors are center stage.
The mouth feel is medium bodied and slightly prickly from the active, persistent carbonation. The finish begins as the sweetness and fruit flavors recede to the background leaving the ending to some nicely dry and well balanced bitterness.
Overall this is an enjoyable, flavorful beer with some interesting complexity in the flavor profile as the flavors come and go. I'd like to have another, if only try and sort things out further.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy golden orange color with 2 fingers of sudsy white head. The head leaves some splotchy lacing as it settles into a thin film.
The aroma is heavy on the citrus, bringing notes of grapefruit, tangerines, oranges, and lemon zest. There's some honey and herbal tea notes before a wave of pine.
The flavor follows the nose with lots of tangerines and grapefruit up front, followed by some oranges and lemon tea. Finishes piney and earthy, with a cereal grain malt backbone.
The feel is light bodied with moderate carbonation. Refreshing and dry, yet lacks the creamy softness expected of the style.
Overall, a great IPA that could legitimately pass for a Tree House beer if not for the mouthfeel. Definitely worth checking out.

Beautiful brew: good head production, good retention, and nice lacing, all atop a pulpy dark orange almost perfectly opaque body.
Deep, fruity aroma of peach, passion fruit, mango, resin, bright green herbs, lemon, honey, flowers, and mandarin orange.
Definitely closer to an APA than IPA on the palate, with grainy pale grains shining through, but swamped throughout with huge hop flavors. Ruby red grapefruit, mango, resin, mild-to-moderate dankness, peach, berries.
Very lively, carrying plenty of sting, but with a medium bodied fullness appropriate to the style.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an orange color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A sweet aroma of citrus fruit, tropical fruit, hops, malt, and a slight vinous quality.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a tinge of vinous quality (white grapes), a whole lot of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a hint of kiwi fruit, and a lot of tropical fruit (passionfruit). A sweet, light, and effervescent flavor. It has a different profile than most NE IPA flavors, but it's still juicy and focused. Tasty stuff.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth, creamy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An incredibly likable beer. Drinkable.
