Poured into a shaker glass. It pours a hazy, bright tangerine color with more than a finger of fluffy, bright white head and lots of soapy lacing inside the glass. Nice smell with lots of lemon, lime, and pine needles. The taste follows with robust grapefruit and pine sap. There are sweeter notes of pineapple and stone fruit from the El Dorado hops. The Apollo adds some lime and dank, earthy notes, and the Galaxy contributes some sweet peach. The mouth feel is great: plush and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and this beer drinks easily at 8% ABV. Overall, while I'm hesitant to say that an 8% ABV IPA is a "crusher," this comes pretty close. I like it a lot.

Maybe the cans we got went bad because this smelled and tasted horrible to me. I'll have to give it another shot at some point.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $5.05. No canned on date, but I think that this was only distributed to my region within that past couple of months.
Look: Pours a moderately hazy brownish peach color with a thin tight-bubbled off-white head. Not to judge a book by its cover, but this is not a very pretty color for a non-fruited NEIPA. However, it does have decent head retention and lacing.
Smell: Nice, interesting nose that has big notes of guava, some cherry, other floral and fruity notes. Green bell pepper on the finish.
Taste: This is a very interesting beer. From the description on the can and from the appearance of the beer, I was thinking that this could be a bitter bomb. However, it actually has a very nice balance of fruity, juicy, sweet, and bitter elements. For an 8.2% ABV NEIPA, it is very drinkable and actually quite refreshing. Nice notes of guava and cherry up front, along with woody, resinous pine and pith through the mid-palate and finish. There is a moderate bitterness that lingers on for some time.
Feel: The beer has a nice, soft, creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: This is my second Foreign Objects beer (The Hanging Garden was the first). It's an interesting beer. I'm not sure what gives it such an atypical color. The usage of this hop combination of Chinook, El Dorado, Apollo, and Galaxy is probably a bit uncommon for an NEIPA, but I'm not sure why it would cause such a color. It must have something to do with the malt bill as well. It's a very hoppy beer, and while the bitterness builds as the can gets consumed, it is not super bitter or palate wrecking. I enjoyed this and would probably try it again at some point. I will certainly look forward to try other Foreign Objects beers in the future.

This golden hued liquid was poured from a pint can into a clear pint glass. Tremendous big bubbled carbonation disapates quickly, leaving no head, nor glass lace. The smell is yeasty and of both dank and dry hops. The yeast and some malts are among the tastes, but as promised, Precision Neurosis is a hop bomb. A very well crafted hop bomb, with a depth of flavors, some contradictory. Sweet and bitter, juicy and dry, smooth and poignant, this is a must try for anyone who likes the style.

Had on tap. Pours ultra hazy, orange gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is peach, pineapple, and pine. Medium heavy bodied, low carbonation and slightly bitter. Makes for a good milkshake ipa. Would get again.

Beautiful pineapple juice/apple cider body with medium-plus haze and a lovely bright white head of compact bubbles that lasted remarkably long and laced well. The one problem: tons of chunky floaties. Highly unappealing for an otherwise beautiful hazy beer.
Sweet, citrusy, piney, and outstanding nose. And the tongue is exactly the same. I like a sweet IPA, so this one is right up my ally. Bitter grapefruit, sweet mango, fresh-squeezed OJ, big grassy note, white grape, and a wonderful maltiness. Light butter finish with a healthy amount of residual overripe fruit sweetness. Really outstanding.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of hops, tropical fruit, malt, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), some citrus fruit (grapefruit, in particular), a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), and a surprising amount of hops (more than expected). A sweet, fruity, and well-balanced flavor. Hoppier than your typical NE IPA, but not obnoxiously so. A focused and lively flavor. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth and creamy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A rock solid, easy to drink beer. Worth a try.
