12 oz. pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a teku glass. It pours a hazy, pastel tangerine color with a fluffy, milk-white cap and soapy lacing. Its smell features clean lemon, lime, pineapple, and a whiff of peach. The taste follows with abundant lemon, grapefruit, and orange. There are also some tropical notes which nicely balance with tart citrus. While there is a firm malt base, this ale is all about the fruit. I didn't notice any pine and the bitterness is clean and mild throughout. The mouth feel is crisp and lite and it drinks very easily for 7.8% ABV. Overall, High PA is a fine balance of East and West Coast IPAs. It suffers a bit by comparison to many of Foreign Objects' more well-known hoppy offerings.
