A: Pours more clear yellow/orange. A small white head forms with not much retention. Light lace is left behind.
S: Up front I get a bit of a sulfur kind of aroma, which is not all that uncommon with Hefe's IMO. Some grainy malts, cereal, light esters. Which become more banana like, with a touch of spicy cloves.
T: Seems a bit muted here. Just a bit of banana and spicy clove. Again, a quick touch of sulfur that fades in an instant. Cereal grains and light pale malts linger. I would like more banana esters and zippy wheat.
M/O: A light to medium body. Moderate carbonation, that neither distinguishes itself nor is a detriment. This could be a bit fuller. Though, still enjoyable to drink. Something that I can come back to with relative ease if in the mood.
Not a bad attempt at a Hefeweizen at all, but nothing particularly exceptional. I enjoy it for what it is, but not among the really great examples IMO.
