On tap at Whole Foods Montrose (Houston, TX), served in a shaker pint. Nearly clear amber gold with a brief, sudsy head of white bubbles. Dank but fruity aroma with plenty of citrus, pine and tropical fruit. Flavor follows with more fruit (pineapple, melon, orange citrus), pine resin and deep bitterness across the palate. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A solid IPA with a healthy dose of bitterness and broad fruit notes.

A: Pours a clear dark orange color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and plenty of lace.
S: Big pine and citrus aromas up front. Resin, oil, tree sap aromas. All with a long finish.
T: Like the nose, pine, citrus, light pineapple. Resin, tree sap like, very oily and lingering bitterness for days.
M/O: A medium body and crisp carbonation. Chewy, sticky and resin like. Which all makes this appropriately weighty, and something I can and have come back to easily.
The citrus, resin like pine, and lingering bitterness all make this classic West Coastish IPA for me. Really good and wish this was something they made more often.
