Pour is a muddy brown / deep amber. thin finger of khaki head fades quickly to a ring around the glass. not unexpected for 14.3%
Nose is soft bourbon, oaky vanilla, toffee, bready malt.
Taste is soft bourbon, oak, warming alcohol. Toffee, nutty, toasted bread, plum, raisin. low bitterness. Finished with toffee, molasses.
Chewy body with moderate carbonation. Good beer - would be better if not quite as hot....but 14.3%...
