This one is hazy golden orange (SRM 5-7). A two-inch fluff of white head slowly settles to a thin blanket after several minutes. Bit patches of chunky lace are left behind on a IIPA glass.
The aroma is juicy, filled with orange and grapefruit against a backdrop of pine resin.
The flavor has a strong, bittersweet balance. The citrus aromas come forward very fresh and pronounced. Pine and cut grass show up late and linger into the mild finish.
This one has a full body and the texture of stiff, sharp taffeta. The alcohol is as expected, as is the fizzy carbonation. It has light metallic notes.
This is the type of NEIPA that I most enjoy. I tried this first during the late summer along the Niagara River, and then again for this review, a couple of weeks later at home out back. Both experiences were very pleasant.

This was not my cup of tea ... way too bland and creamy. It had none of the bite of an IPA or the tropical fruit which I've come to expect. This had a ton of lactose which made it incredibly creamy but without much character. It was like drinking a glass of beer foam head, even though the head was minimal.
The thing about this beer is there just isn't anything unique about it. If someone disliked IPAs, I think they could get by with this one as it has almost none of the typical IPA notes or bites.
There's nothing wrong with the look or the mouthfeel. It's just bland and creamy.

Great IPA from the brewery in Lewiston. Wasn't expecting much entering this place without having researched it beforehand. Saw a NEIPA on the menu & gave it a shot. Gorgeous thick straw-orange, super hazy with frothy head & great lacing. Taste is citrus forward; nice creamy & smooth mouthfeel and only a tiny sweet bitterness on the finish. Would definitely enjoy again.
