Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is gold, transparent, head is off white/brighter white, head presents 1 finger thick and then dissipates to thin top and some lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is crisp hops with notes of grapefruit pith, earth, grass, light pine, hint of berry, malt is lightly toasted and light sweetness.

Taste is balanced hop and malt presentation: hop flavor is grapefruit pith, earth, grass, light pine, malt is toast and light caramel.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness; an initial pithy dryness that subsides after drinking.

Overall a pithy, drying, lightly malty west coast style IPA (as labeled) - initial pithy feel subsides with warming.
