Inspired by our northern neighbors this regional Pilsner is brewed with Canadian Malt and Rocky Mountain Lager yeast. Our meticulously lagered Pilsner is as clean and crisp as a North wind.

This one is almost clear, with lots of fine, casual carbonation. It is pale straw (SRM 2-4), with a big, fluffy, white head. The head slowly falls from two plus inches to a thin blanket within five minutes. An even spattering of lacing is left on a Laura pilsner glass.
The aroma has crisp, clean grains, white bread, and faint graham crackers. White pepper and slight hop spicing are also apparent.
The flavor is crisp with mild bitterness and light honey. Cooked barley gives way as mild sweetening comes out with warmth. Watercress and celery follow just before a clean, long and mild finish.
The medium body and smooth nylon texture help to reveal the alcohol more than expected. Carbonation is light and fizzy.
I found this beer to be a big surprise from an out of the way brewer. It would go very well on a hot summer afternoon while sitting poolside. Imagine it would also pair well with wings and a ball game.
