750 mL bottle. Pours lightly hazy orange. Smells of light citrus acidity, bready malt, and some floral honey. Tastes of light citrus acidity, oak, some vinous notes, honey, and a little grain. Lingering wine barrel notes. Medium heavy. Very nice. A hefty beer, but the flavor combination is excellent and it never feels heavy-handed,

Pours dark orange, hazy, two fingers off white head that dissipates quickly. Smells lemony, bready slightly musty. Taste is lemon pith, apple, honey malt. vanilla and vinous notes from the barrel. At times a little tart, a little sweet and a little funky. Soft , almost creamy mouthfeel , hefty malt presence. Well done, if a bit heavy, barrel aged saison.
