Light in strength but rich in character, Pigs Ear delivers smooth notes of biscuit, toffee, and subtle earthy hops. It pours a light copper hue with a soft, malt-forward body and minimal bitterness. A pint that feels like a friendly nudge to stay for one more.

Divine Barrel calls it an English style pale mild ale which puts it in a class of beers that offer a lower ABV that encourages an extra glass without feeling full. Whether you call it a Pub Ale, Mild Ale, or Common Ale which I find to be similar, this is a beer with a little bitterness and slightly sweet notes. Refreshingly light without hoppy notes. It might be even better from a cask. Looks like an amber, but tastes much lighter. A great beer for a hot day if you can find it.
