Dark amber brew with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. This is so malty and rich for a Pale Ale, and it's a nice change. Like an amped-up Oktoberfest. I'd even call it a Märzen with a slight case of hops. And actually this is not very hoppy at all, and possibly one of the least bitter Pale Ales I've ever had. In any case, it makes a nice Oktoberfest season brew. Flavors of roasted malt, cereal, and a touch of caramel. Some flowery hops and a bit of greenery in the finish. Mellow and totally quaffable. From the 16 oz can dated but not legible.

Light orange/gold appearance. Good hop/malt balance. A hint of malt sweetness. Light finish.
