Clear yellow amber brew with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Hops are listed as Citra, Centennial, and Mosaic. There is actually quite a bit of hop flavor, as in melon and mango. Ignore the "Extra" in the name and enjoy an excellent American Pale Ale. Aromatic with pineapple and citrus peel.
There is a llittle malty sweetness to go with the hoppy taste. Just a slight bitter aftertate, but enough to balance the malt. Lush and sudsy mouthfeel and body is not all that light. From the 16 oz can purchased at Community Coop. Dated 07/23/21.

16oz can (dated 7/8/19) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy orange-yellow color with 1/2 inch of white head that low-moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma was mostly soft, juice-like hops, with a very low malt profile.
Very similar on the tongue: low, almost non-existent, grain/malt, and soft, bland hops. The softest tingle of hop bite on the finish was the saving grace.
The body was light-medium, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Overall, not a terrible brew, but certainly the one with the least personality I've had from this brewery.
Try it, or don't. Shrug.
